The short version

The longer version
Running a blog costs money and a great deal of time. Affiliate commissions are one of the ways this one pays for itself, alongside advertising. That creates an obvious conflict of interest, so here are the rules I hold myself to:
- The recommendation comes first, the link second. I decide what to recommend, then check whether an affiliate programme exists — never the reverse.
- No paid placements dressed as editorial. If a company ever pays for coverage, that article will say so at the top, in bold, before anything else.
- Negatives stay in. If a product I link to has a real flaw, the article says so.
- No link without a reason. If an article has no genuine product recommendation, it has no affiliate links.
